Recovery Farm For Veterans
A Teaching Farm empowering Homeless Veteran Women and Children.
Recovery Farm For Veterans at a Glance
A Bit of Background
Here at Recovery Farm For Veterans, a Teaching Small Farm, we strive to do our part in presenting and offering the chance to work with the land using Permaculture, animals, wood work, recycle and upcycle of materials for craft making and the principles of a simple, back-to-the-land approach to self reliability and sustainability. We empower and give back confidence to Homeless Veteran Women and Children by using nature, the psychological support that animals provide, and the alternative ways to generate income to create a stable and prosper future.
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. We are working on a project for a Transitioning Housing Facility to be implemented alongside the Teaching Farm.

Food Donation Drop-Off
At Recovery Farm For Veterans, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Food Donation Drop-Off and a Mobile Food Bank/Pantry is by no means an easy feat, but through cooperation and community empowerment along with the partnership of local businesses, we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. Our reach is still small, but the assistance we provide is already of a great impact to recipients. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.
